FAQs

To fulfill the 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training requirements, trainees will be required to take a total of 13 modules: 4 Required modules, 1 Practicum module and 8 Elective modules of choice. (See the current line up of modules here.) Along with your 200 hour RYT from a Yoga Alliance credentialed school, you'll then be eligible for an RYT 500 status.

Here are answers to a few questions you may have:

✨How long does the training last? Well, that's up to you! We are committed to offering this program for at least two years. The 4 REQUIRED modules will be offered two times before September 2025. The elective modules will be offered monthly through September 2025. The Practicum module can be completed when you choose. And hey, we'll keep the ball rolling as long as our community keeps showing up.

✨What if I just want to take a few modules? Each module will also be available as 20 Y.A.C.E. credits for those not pursuing their 300 hour certification.

✨Where will the training be held? Most of the scheduled trainings will take place at Hope Wellness Center, just off Frank Scott Parkway, at 4933 Benchmark Center Dr., Swansea, IL. We have a few virtual modules scheduled as well.

✨Why commit to the 300 hour YTT training when I can just take the modules that I want? If you commit to the 300 hour program, you will receive a few added benefits:

  • Affordability: If you took all 13 modules independently, it would cost $5,200 ($400/module). If you choose to pay in full or over 4 months, the cost is $4,000. If you choose to pay as you go, the cost is $4,550 ($350/module) plus a $200 refundable deposit.
  • Community and Connection: Hopefully you experienced in your 200 hour training that being part of a yoga training program gives you access to an amazing community where you can connect with like-minded individuals who share a common interest in yoga and well-being. This sense of connection can lead to life-long friendships and an invaluable support network. It provides a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, expressing your thoughts, and embracing your imperfections without fear of criticism, bot on and off the mat. And, you get to learn from and help each other grow.
  • Motivation and Accountability: When you are in community with other dedicated yogis, it encourages you to stay committed as well. A sense of accountability to you community will also help you maintain stay motivated and excited for the next new step
  • Opportunities for Growth: Being part of a community can open doors to opportunities you might not encounter otherwise. You could be introduced to new teaching opportunities and life experiences.
